Advanced Query

The advanced query can be used to find genes that match specific criteria. Genes can be queried across cellular morphotype, protein localization, biofilm, and gene feature data.

Query Instructions
  1. Select the field(s) that you would like to search across. All fields are AND'd together, which can be used to search within the same field multiple times.
    • Ex: To find all genes that have both a bulbous and a short morphotype, you would add two "Morphotype" fields and set the term for one as "bulbous" and the term for the other as "short."
  2. For each field, add the terms (values) that you would like to find matching genes for. All terms under the same field are OR'd (logical) together.
    • Ex: To find all genes that have both a bulbous or long morphotype, you would add one "Morphotype" field and then set two terms beneath, one term as "bulbous" and the other term as "long."
